Methodology
This page explains what the Salary Intelligence tool's figures represent, how they're built, and their limitations. It should be read alongside the disclaimers shown in the tool itself.
What the figures represent
Preset roles show an indicative base salary, target annual bonus and, where typical, equity/stock units for a mid-market supplement contract manufacturer in the United States. The "Salary Range" badge is a total-cash range, not a base-salary-only range.
How location influences estimates
The current tool defaults to United States figures. Location-specific ranges for other markets (UK, Europe, Canada) are planned but not yet available.
How company size and seniority affect estimates
Figures assume a defined company profile (shown in the tags above each result) and a specific seniority band per role. A different company size, revenue band or seniority level will change the realistic range. Request a custom benchmark for a tailored figure.
What employer costs may be included
The full report (unlocked via the form) includes employer-side benefit assumptions (health/dental premium contribution and retirement match) as estimates, not a specific employer's actual cost structure.
What is excluded
The tool does not currently model commission plans, car allowances, relocation assistance, or country-specific payroll tax rules beyond a general estimate. It is not tax, legal, payroll or financial advice.
Data source and review cadence
Preset role figures were supplied directly by Elite Recruit as sample/indicative data for FY 2024–25. They have not yet been cross-checked against an independent third-party salary survey. Custom/free-text roles generate an indicative estimate only and are clearly labelled as such in the tool.
Reporting inaccurate information
If a figure looks materially wrong for your market, contact us and we'll review it.
Frequently asked questions
How accurate are the salary estimates?
The preset roles shown in the tool are sample/indicative figures provided by Elite Recruit for FY 2024–25 and have not yet been independently benchmarked against third-party market data. Treat every figure as a starting point for a conversation, not a guarantee.
What is included in total compensation?
The free result shows base salary, target performance bonus and, where typical for the role, vested equity or stock units, summed as the Gross Total Package. This is compensation before any deductions.
Are bonuses and commissions included?
Target annual bonus is included where applicable. Sales-oriented roles may also carry commission, which is not currently broken out separately. Ask us for role-specific detail.
Does the estimate include employer costs?
Employer-paid benefits (health/dental premium contribution, retirement match) are part of the full report, unlocked via the form, and are estimates rather than a specific employer’s actual cost.
Is take-home pay included?
An estimated net take-home figure is included in the full report. It is illustrative only. See the disclaimer below.
Is this tax advice?
No. This tool does not provide tax, legal, payroll or financial advice. Take-home estimates may not reflect an individual’s complete tax circumstances.
How often is the data updated?
The preset roles are labelled with the fiscal year they represent (currently FY 2024–25). We plan to review and refresh this data on a regular cycle once verified sources are in place.
Can I benchmark a role not listed?
Yes. Type any title into the custom role field. Custom-role estimates are generated indicatively and are clearly marked as unverified. For a real benchmark, request a custom benchmark instead.
